In 1998 Aoife moved to Belfast, Northern Ireland to work in an advertising agency. Since 2003 she has worked as a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and artist. She is based on the Ards Penninsula.

Aoife's botanical studies explore the enigmatic world of botanical life - a realm teeming with organic chaos. She unveils the contrasting and contradictory facets inherent in these natural wonders. Aoife's work reveals the oscillation between symmetry and asymmetry encouraging a deeper connection with the natural world - one that celebrates imperfection and embraces chaos. Aoife captures the intense visual effects of light and highlights its transformative effect. Through her work she reveals a hidden dimension - an alternate reality where chaos becomes art.
